Author event: Mag Gabbert at ACC Creative Writing Department

On Tuesday, April 14th, we will be joining the ACC Creative Writing Department as they welcome Dallas Poet Laureate, Mag Gabbert for a reading and discussion on our Highland Campus.
Gabbert’s debut poetry collection Sex Depression Animals won the Charles B. Wheeler Prize and the Writers’ League of Texas Book Award in Poetry. She is also the recipient of a Pushcart Prize and a 92NY Discovery Award. Mag teaches at Southern Methodist University and serves as the Poet Laureate of Dallas, Texas.
This event is free and open to the public.
There will also be an online event on Wednesday, April 15th.
